KX News is searching for a Full-time Lifestyle Show Host and Producer. Join our Awesome Studio 701 bringing fun, creative and interactive stories to our communities. Produce content both on-air and behind the scenes.
Responsibilities:
- Produce daily on camera contributions to a daily television show.
- Assisting Producer with writing show segments.
- Interviewing show guests/clients both in studio and on location.
- Collecting information, video or photos at remote locations for post-production.
- Greeting and assisting guests during show preparations.
- Researching show topics and developing questions for quests in coordination with the producer.
- Participating in events, sponsored or to promote the show.
- Maintaining a show social media account and assist with all online content.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to ad lib when required
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
