You will report directly to the Marketing Director of Midwest Communications, Inc. – Nashville and work in conjunction with the Marketing, Programming and Sales departments to execute promotions and coordinate marketing efforts, street team and community involvement. Duties include, but are not limited to; assisting the Marketing Director with planning events and securing promotional prizes, assisting with the maintenance of the station’s website, managing a staff of 8 – 10 part-time team members. In this position you must be versatile enough to work weekends and some evenings and maintain a professional relationship with customers, listeners and vendors of the station.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 1 year media promotions experience and be familiar with website management and social media. You must possess leadership qualities, a positive attitude, and enjoy working in a team environment. This job requires someone with a flair for innovation and creativity, while being detail oriented. Strong communications skills, both written and oral, are an imperative. You must be capable of handling multiple projects, unexpected interruptions and still meet deadlines. This position also requires candidates to have use of a reliable vehicle with insurance and a good driving record. A degree in mass communications or a related field is preferred.
