National Weather Service Forecast Office in Bismarck Offers FREE Severe Weather and Safety Training

Severe Weather and Safety Training, called SKYWARN, is free and open to the public. Sessions will be held virtually via GoToWebinar and will last about one hour, a bit longer based on audience questions. Register below and a confirmation email will be sent to you.

We’ll discuss storm hazards (flash floods, lightning, tornadoes, hail and high wind) and will share advice on how to be safe from severe weather. Our goal is to make you more Weather-Ready!

If you have questions contact John Paul Martin, Warning Coordination Meteorologist, at: john.paul.martin@noaa.gov
