And in the winter, those same courses are perfect for cross-country skiers and snowboarders.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary\/Description:<\/strong><u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Maybe you\u2019ve never thought of a career as a Technical Media Producer because you\u2019ve never heard of it! Or maybe you\u2019re nervous about the fact that you don\u2019t have any experience in live broadcast production. If you\u2019re not afraid of a challenge and work well as a team, then this may be the next step for you.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>The Technical Media Producer has the general responsibility for directing live or pre-recorded productions, monitoring the station\u2019s on-air signals, transmitter, and FCC logs, and ingesting daily programming and commercials. Regular assignments will involve directing newscasts, miscellaneous station productions, special programs, breaking news, live sports, and severe weather.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):<\/strong><u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct \/ Technical Direct live or pre-recorded productions (studio or remote).<\/li>\n<li>Direct\/TD during breaking news and severe weather coverage.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure consistent on-air \u201clook\u201d with minimal error.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient operation and knowledge of Overdrive, production switcher, and supporting equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate between multiple control rooms with no change in overall performance, and proper, effective communication within the TMP team.<\/li>\n<li>Proper and effective communication with Newsroom personnel, with the ability to handle changing situations.<\/li>\n<li>All Master Control needs, including media management, automation playout, and quality control.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient operation and knowledge of Master Control operation and supporting equipment, including but not limited to, routers, automation, multichannel, digital servers, programming and spot ingest, ftp downloads, FCC requirements, closed captioning, EAS tests, Amber Alerts, transmitter and tower light requirements, News Live Shot and TVU set-up, Severe Weather Alerts and coverage, and breaking news coverage.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding and ability to implement backup systems and workflow when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in production schedules, reports, and projects as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to adhere to all FCC procedures and requirements,<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements:<\/strong><u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to perform the job requirements as described<\/li>\n<li>Strong computer, editing, and video skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to complete regular duties within regular work shifts\/days\/weeks without compromising quality<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a permanent residence within 30 minutes ofthe\u00a0 station<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license and good driving record (may be reviewed)<\/li>\n<li>Successful completion of drug testing (and company driving test if necessary).<\/li>\n<li>Good or corrected hearing and vision<\/li>\n<li>Reasonable physical mobility to get around the station and town<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in potentially stressful conditions, including breaking news and \u201clive\u201d coverage situations<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in extreme weather conditions<\/li>\n<li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lift, move, and set-up &amp; operate professional broadcast equipment up to a maximum of 40 lbs.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to work schedule that may include morning, evening, weekend, Holiday and\/or overnight assignments<\/li>\n<li>Reasonable and regular attendance is required<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":4948,"parent":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"Job Types":[35,39],"class_list":["post-9548","jobs","type-jobs","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","JobTypes-news","JobTypes-production"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ndba.org\/files\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/jobs\/9548","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ndba.org\/files\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/jobs"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ndba.org\/files\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/jobs"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ndba.org\/files\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/4948"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ndba.org\/files\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=9548"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"Job Types","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ndba.org\/files\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/Job Types?post=9548"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
