Key Responsibilities (vary by role)
- News: Gather, write, and report local, regional, and state news for on-air and digital platforms
- Sales: Build relationships with local businesses and develop effective advertising solutions across radio and digital channels
- Sports: Provide live play-by-play announcing and coverage of local high school and regional sports through Live Video, Radio, and TV mediums.
- Create content for websites and social media
- Engage with the community through events, interviews, and promotions
- Collaborate with team members across departments
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and dependable
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Interest or experience in broadcasting, sales, journalism, or sports
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Experience is preferred but not required—training opportunities available
